St Justin cross pendant – A small pewter Celtic cross pendant on an 18″ curb chain.

This Celtic cross is typical of many found in Cornwall, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Brittany and the Isle of Man. Most were carved in local stone in an era between the 7th and 12th centuries.The ring around the cross helped to strengthen it but is also thought to combine the celestial sphere (sun) with the Christian cross.
